On the back of the recent release of the IAB Singapore Online Revenue Report announcing online spend for H1 2011 at S$60.31million, the Interactive Advertising Bureau Southeast Asia (IAB SE Asia) Singapore Chapter announced today the new ten-person Leadership Council for 2012/2013, with Loren Shuster, Country Director-Singapore and Emerging Markets, Google, taking the reins as the new Chairman.

Digital Advertising Spend in Singapore Grows To Over S$60m in H1 2011: IAB

Steady climb shows digital spend on track to cross S$100million mark

Singapore, March 19, 2012 -- The Interactive Advertising Bureau Southeast Asia (IAB SE Asia) Singapore Chapter today released the Singapore Online Advertising Revenue Report reflecting Digital Ad Spend at S$60.31m for the period January to June 2011. The figures account for 8%of the total advertising expenditure in Singapore. Jointly commissioned by the Media Development Authority (MDA) and the IAB SE Asia, Singapore Chapter, the report was compiled by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP to provide an analysis of the online and interactive advertising market growth and trends.

SPIRIT OF ENTERPRISE (SOE) 2011

Singapore, December 2011 - Leonard Tan, the Founder and CEO of PurpleClick Media receives the Spirit of Enterprise (SOE) Honoree 2011, amongst all other entrepreneurs in a wide spectrum of industries. Leonard outshone all other entrepreneurs and was the exclusively honoree from the digital advertising industry, amidst 119 other nominees.

The SOE 2011 is an annual award that recognises the entrepreneurial spirit in Singapore by honouring local self-reliant entrepreneurs operating small and medium businesses. Selection of the SOE Honoree 2011 commenced many months ago, when 119 top entrepreneurs were selected by the SOE Board of Governors. This followed by a 2^nd filtering selection and nomination by the general public, with 47,000 total votes.
